Here’s the word from U.S. Soccer:
U.S. Soccer has announced two more matches for the U.S. Women's National Team on its Victory Tour with the 2015 Women's World Cup champions facing Brazil in Seattle and Orlando in October.
The games are the fifth and sixth to be announced as part of the 10-match tour to celebrate the USA's world title this summer in Canada. The remaining four match dates, venues and opponents will be announced once confirmed.
The U.S. will take on Brazil at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Wednesday, October 21 (7 p.m. PT on ESPN2 and WatchESPN), before hopping across the country for the second leg on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Orlando Citrus Bowl in central Florida (2:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1).
Tickets go on sale to the public for the game in Seattle on Friday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m. PT and for the match in Orlando on Friday, Aug. 21, at 10 a.m. ET through ussoccer.com and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Groups of 20 or more can obtain an order form at ussoccer.com or call 312-528-1290. Ultimate Fan Tickets (special VIP packages that include a premium ticket, a custom-made official U.S. National Team jersey with name and number, VIP access to the field before and after the game, and other unique benefits) are also available exclusively through ussoccer.com.
In the Seattle area, tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster ticket centers (including most Fred Meyer and Walmart locations) and the CenturyLink Field ticket office (open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). In Central Florida, tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster ticket centers (including most Walmart locations) as well as the Amway Center ticket office (open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) [Note: Tickets are not sold at the Orlando Citrus Bowl except on the day of the event.]
Around the match in Orlando, U.S. Soccer will also offer a four-day Girls Fantasy Camp (Oct. 23-26) for players born in 2000, 2001 and 2002. This exclusive fan-player opportunity includes training sessions with a former WNT player, accommodations at the official U.S. Soccer hotel, access to one WNT training session, premium match tickets & game-day Ultimate Fan Experience, U.S. Soccer training apparel and more. The Camp is a fundraiser to support U.S. Soccer development initiatives. The U.S. Women's National Team Victory Tour begins on Aug. 16 against Costa Rica at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh (1:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1). More than 40,000 tickets have been sold for that match. The USA will then play Costa Rica at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Aug. 19 (6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and WatchESPN). That match is sold out with 20,000 fans expected to attend.
The USA will also face Women's World Cup quarterfinalist Australia on Thursday, Sept. 17 at Ford Field in Detroit (7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1) followed by a match on Sunday, Sept. 20 at historic Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama (2 p.m. CT on ESPN2 and WatchESPN). More than 20,000 tickets have been sold for each of the matches so far.
