The Sounders play CD Olimpia at 7 p.m. PT Wednesday in CONCACAF Champions League Group F play from Honduras.
Here is our preview from today’s paper.
The game will be radio-broadcast on 97.3-FM. There will be no local Spanish-language broadcast, or the kind of television or streaming usually readily accessible for MLS games.
The Sounders’ viewing party at The Ninety has reached full capacity of Match Pass members. The game can be seen on Fox Sports Plus, which I hear turns up on some satellite and special cable tiers. It also will be streamed on Fox Soccer 2 Go, which is a subscription app, but which is running a seven-day free trial.
Never miss a local story.
Finally, there are some public showings and area soccer bars, etc., including Doyle’s in Tacoma.
Sounder at Heart also has assembled an ever-growing guide of public places to watch.
Assuming I’m able to watch, I’ll try to keep active on through Twitter @donruiztnt, and then I’ll get postgame notes and quotes up as quickly as possible after the match… allowing all the ways previous plans from some previous CONCACAF and U.S. Open Cup sites have gone wrong.
Good luck to all of us.
