1970s rockers No Cheese Please reunite for Tacoma show

No Cheese Please, the 1970s Tacoma rock band, are reuniting for a show at Jazzbones on Saturday, April 18.

Original band members Steve Aliment, Bill Cameron, Glen Eagleson, and Bart Hyde will perform in the 8 p.m. show.

No Cheese Please formed in 1976. The band, with its new wave and punk repertoire, along with its contemporaries in the Northwest rock scene set the stage for the grunge movement of the 1980s.

They performed their last show at the Hall of Fame Seattle nightclub in 1983.

Also on the bill for Saturday are the Twang Junkies, and Seattle singer-songwriter Steve Pearson and his latest project, British Racing Green (BRG).
