Tryouts for ‘The Biggest Loser’ coming to Puget Sound

Are you and a friend at least 80 pounds overweight? If yes, you might be the newest “Biggest Losers.”

The hit NBC weight-loss reality show “The Biggest Loser” is stopping in Lake Forest Park on July 18 to audition teams of two for the next edition of the show.

It’s part of a nine-city, cross-country search to find new contestants.

Teams of two (spouses, siblings, parent/adult child, best friends, co-workers) who each have at least 80 pounds to lose are wanted for the new season.

At some of the audition stops former “Biggest Loser” contestants will be making appearances, but there’s no word if one will be at Lake Forest Park.

If you watch the show you know contestants need to be more than just overweight to be on it. Producers are looking for, “outgoing and charismatic teams of two who have the personality, desire and competitive edge to vie for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” according to the announcement.

Not only does the winner change their bodies and lives, but they get a grand prize of $250,000.

Here are the details:

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States.

People will not be allowed to line up until three hours before the start of the open call.

Candidates should bring a non-returnable photo of themselves and their partners.
