South Sound poet Lucia Perillo will hold a reading at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Washington State Library, 6880 Capitol Blvd. S., Tumwater.
The event is free and open to the public.
Perillo, a former park ranger, has multiple sclerosis. In her most recent book, "I've Heard the Vultures Singing," she reveals observations from her wheelchair.
