“Tasting flight” at woodland park zoo: Uncork some of Washington’s boutique wines at this first-ever event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 27. Guests must check in at the Will Call/ID checkpoint booth at the zoo’s west entrance at Phinney Avenue North, between 55th and 56th streets north. Activities will take place on the North Meadow. Tickets are $20 per family, which includes 10 1-ounce tasting tokens, but does not include zoo admission. Additional tokens are $1.
