LITTLE RED SCHOOLHOUSE FUNDRAISING BARBECUE: The event is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Olympia-Lacey Church of God, corner of Lacey Boulevard Southeast and Ruddell Road. Help raise money to provide local students with school supplies, backpacks and clothing in the fall. Eat in or take-out Marv’s Marvlus Bar-B-Q pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, baked beans and a beverage for $10 in advance or $12 at the door. There will be live music, desserts for sale and a raffle. Tickets can be purchased at redschool.org or at the door. If you can’t attend, a $12.92 donation will purchase a backpack, school supplies, socks and underwear for one child. WINE BAR & LIVE JAZZ FUNDRAISER FOR THE OLYMPIA FREE CLINIC: The event is 3-7 p.m. June 6 at Albee’s Garden Parties, 4127 20th Lane NW, Olympia. Enjoy hors d’oeurvres, a dessert auction and raffles. COMEDY FOR A CAUSE 2015: The fundraiser for the Family Support Center will be at 6 p.m. June 13 at Lucky Eagle Hotel & Casino in Rochester. The event includes a full dinner, comedy show and raffle. Tickets are $40 per person, or $360 for a table of 10, and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com/event/1443649. THE MURDER MYSTERY CO.: Sponsored by The Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter Holy Royal Arch Masons, the social hour with a presentation begins at 6:15 p.m. June 20 with dinner and show kicking off at 7:15 p.m., at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW, Olympia.
