Organizations come together in Olympia to host Volunteer Summit recruiting event

The Washington Center for the Performing Arts is partnering with United Way’s Volunteer Connection and the Olympia Lacey Tumwater Visitor & Convention Bureau to host a Volunteer Summit from 3-7 p.m. June 17 at The Washington Center, 512 Washington St. SE, Olympia.

The event is designed to link potential volunteers, from students to retirees, with some of the diverse nonprofits in Thurston County. There will be representatives from theater groups, housing services, child and youth mentorship and care, as well as other areas of service.

Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
