COMEDY FOR A CAUSE 2015: A fundraiser for the Family Support Center will be at 6 p.m. June 13 at Lucky Eagle Hotel & Casino in Rochester. The event includes a full dinner, comedy show and raffle. Tickets are $40 per person, or $360 for a table of 10, and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com/event/1443649. LACEY FUNDRAISER TO END ALZHEIMER’S: From 11 a.m.-9 p.m. June 17, Twisties Frozen Yogurt at 5500 Corporate Center Lane SE, Suite B, Lacey, will donate a portion of sales to the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimers. For more information, contact Peter Adams at 253-318-9857.

THE SOUTH PUGET SOUND NEW HORIZONS BAND: The band will perform a benefit concert for the Thurston County Food Bank at 7 p.m. June 19 at the Washington Land Yacht Harbor Event Center, 9101 Steilacoom Road SE, Olympia. Donations of cash or checks payable to Thurston County Food Bank will be accepted.

THE MURDER MYSTERY CO.: Sponsored by The Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter Holy Royal Arch Masons, the social hour with a presentation begins at 6:15 p.m. June 20 with dinner and show kicking off at 7:15 p.m., at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW, Olympia. Tickets are $60 and can be reserved online at hram-wa.com or by calling 360-878-8984. The show benefits scholarships for the class of 2015 as well as homeless and hunger programs.

CONCERN FOR ANIMALS: This nonprofit needs dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, bird and chicken feed; cat litter; beds, blankets and towels in good condition; pet toys; dog houses, carriers and crates; leashes and collars; and gift cards for pet food and supplies.
