Join fellow volunteers at Mount Rainier National Park to help spread the word on the dangers of feeding wild animals. Park staff will train these volunteers and then ask them to spend volunteer time patrolling parking lots, picnic areas, campgrounds, etc., watching for wildlife and wildlife-visitor interactions and explaining to park visitors why the wildlife should not be fed by humans.
At the end of the day all will reassemble at the Longmire Community Center for a debriefing and pizza.
When: Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: Education Center at the park’s Tahoma Woods headquarters, 55210 238th Ave. East, Ashford
