Three things to do this weekend

Saturday and Sunday: Join Cabela’s Jim Sawaya for a detailed presentation on center fire reloading. He’ll answer your questions and demonstrate the tools for center fire reloading. The session runs from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. in the hunting department.

Sunday: Join the Olympia Mountaineers for some kayak practice in the pool at River Ridge High School in Lacey from 3 to 5 p.m. New members are encouraged to join the fun, practice old skills and learn new skills from experienced paddlers. Bring a clean kayak and $5 if you are a Mountaineer, $10 for nonmembers.

Sunday: Join the WSU Extension native plant salvage project from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Volunteer will work at a forested location in Olympia slated for development. Tools, gloves, snacks, hot drinks and lunch provided. For directions and information, send an e-mail to nativeplantsalvage @gmail.com or call 360-867-2166.
