Brooke Hogan Slams Clearwater Police Department After Releasing Hulk Hogan's Final Death Report

Brooke Hogan had some choice words for the Clearwater Police Department after they released the final death report of her father, Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea).

On July 24, 2025, Hogan died of an acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack, after collapsing at his home in Clearwater, Florida. Medical records showed that Hogan had also suffered from chronic lymphocytic leukemia and atrial fibrillation.

In their final report on Hogan's death, the Clearwater Police Department said there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing and that the WWE legend died of natural causes, per the Associated Press.

Brooke, however, has taken issue with the police department's report and how they treated her during the investigation. She called them out in an interview with Bubba the Love Sponge (h/t Us Weekly):

"I think my fans and I think people know me well enough to know that I have integrity," Brooke said. "I try to keep my mouth shut. I've tried to stay out of this stuff, but dear Clearwater Police: Keep my (expletive) name out of your mouth. You have not treated me like family. You have not helped me. You have not been in touch with me like you should have been."

In a separate interview with TMZ, Brooke said the police department's public statement felt like "a slap in the face." Brooke added that she wasn't allowed to view the autopsy's results and questioned why her father's personal physician signed his death certificate.

"There's been a lot of inconsistencies from the BEGINNING," she said. "I think CWPD missed the mark by not IMMEDIATELY making this a big investigation and not questioning everything and everybody out the gate. This should have been treated as a taped off, locked down, thorough investigation from day one."

Hulk Hogan had dealt with numerous health issues in his post-wrestling days, requiring hip and knee replacement surgeries and around 10 back procedures.

Brooke Hogan Did Not Attend Her Father's Funeral

After Hulk's funeral, Brooke explained that she did not attend the service. Brooke stated that her father didn't want a funeral, and she decided to honor him with a day on the beach with her husband and two children.

Brooke has been open about the rocky relationship with her father, revealing that they had stopped communicating more than a year before his death.
