PE ELL: Suspect in crossbow shooting turns self in

Lehman Neil Delavergne turned himself in to Lewis County deputies at a home in the Pe Ell area shortly after 10 a.m. Friday, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Delavergne, 33, is suspected of shooting a 26-year-old Pe Ell man with a crossbow late Wednesday, then stabbing the man. He was booked at the Lewis County Jail on a charge of first-degree attempted murder.

The victim was in stable condition Friday morning at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Delavergne’s wife, Sophea, was booked into the Lewis County Jail on Thursday on an unrelated charge, according to Chief Criminal Deputy Gene Seiber.
