Komachin Middle School parents and their neighbors can join middle schoolers for the "Rachel's Challenge" evening assembly, which will focus on service in the community, at 7 p.m. today at the middle school, 3650 College St. S.E., Lacey.
The hour-long “Rachel’s Challenge” presentation, developed by the family of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shooting in 1999, promotes the idea that acts of kindness create a chain reaction of good will that can positively affect society.
The program is presented by The Volunteer Center and Komachin Middle School.
