Grays Harbor County’s emergency weight restrictions on county roads will be lifted as of 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, according to The Daily World of Aberdeen.
The weeklong restrictions were aimed at keeping heavy trucks and equipment off county roads to give asphalt time to thaw after freezing conditions
Trucks may return earlier to the roads around Sierra Pacific, Girard Wood near Elma and Murphy Veneer between Elma and McCleary, county road engineer Russ Esses said. Those restrictions will be lifted at noon today.
The restrictions had kept trucks from delivering wood supplies and logs all week, and the businesses were running out of supplies or couldn’t ship their finished products, Esses said.
