At least three people, including an employee at Maple Lane School in Grand Mound, were arrested Wednesday after Centralia police executed a high-risk search warrant at a home on North Pearl Street, according to The Chronicle of Centralia.
Officers found 40 marijuana plants in the home and a stolen vehicle on the property, Police Cmdr. Bob Willey said.
A neighbor, Marcello Martocci, said he long had suspected that the house was being used as a hub for drug sales.
“I looked out and saw a whole army out there,” Martocci said of the raid, which occurred about 8 a.m. Wednesday. “I couldn’t believe it. … But we knew this would happen eventually.”
