An account with Key Bank has been set up to accept donations for the Fultz-Valenta Family, a family of eight that was left homeless after their two-story home on Prather Road burned down on Christmas Day, according to a spokeswoman with the West Thurston Regional Fire Authority. The fire district has received many donations of clothing and other items for that family and a different family of five that lost their home on Albany Street on Sunday, spokeswoman Lt. Lanette Dyer said.
People who wish to help may donate either items or money to the families at any of the fire agency’s stations in Littlerock or in Rochester, she said, or people can call Dyer at 360-701-4593. The fires are still under investigation, she said.
