Oakville woman hurt in sleep-related crash

An Oakville woman was injured when her 1994 BMW drifted into the median on Interstate 5, struck the barrier, veered back off the right side of the freeway and flipped onto its top, according to the Washington State Patrol.

According to the State Patrol:

Julia Altree, 47, fell asleep while driving north on I-5 near the Thurston-Lewis county line. Drugs or alcohol were not involved, and she was taken to Providence Centralia Hospital for treatment of back pain. She will face a charge of negligent driving.
