The following projects are expected to affect traffic in the coming week, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Lacey: The shoulder on both directions of Martin Way at Interstate 5 will remain closed 24 hours a day. Pedestrian access on westbound Martin Way is restricted.
McKenna: Power pole relocation will close alternating lanes of state Route 702 from state Route 507 to Harts Lake Road South. The work will be done from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today through Friday.
Northeast Thurston County: High-tension cable median installation will close the left lane of northbound I-5 from state Route 510 to Meridian Road. The work will be done from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. today through Thursday.

Olympia: Tree removal will close eastbound state Route 8 from Rock Candy Mountain Road to Old Olympic Highway. The work will be done from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
South Pierce County: Straightening of the median barrier will close the left lane of northbound I-5 from the Thurston County line to state Route 167. The work will be done from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday.
South Thurston County: Wall installation will create slowdowns from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays on I-5 from the Thurston-Lewis county line to 113th Avenue Southwest.
South Thurston County: Straightening of the median barrier will close the left lane of I-5 from Maytown to the Thurston-Pierce county line. The closures will be intermittent and will occur from 10:30 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday.
