Unknown adult new topic in missing Oregon boy case

PORTLAND, Ore. - New details are expected to be released in the search for Kyron Horman, possibly involving the reported sighting of an unknown adult in the family pickup outside the boy's school.

The Multnomah County sheriff’s office scheduled a press conference for 11 a.m. Wednesday to release details about the investigation into the disappearance of the 7-year-old boy on June 4.

The reported sighting of the adult occurred while Kyron’s stepmother, Terri Horman, was inside Skyline School on the day Kyron disappeared.

Investigators are trying to determine the whereabouts of her friend, DeDe Spicher, during overlapping hours that day.

Last weekend, searchers distributed fliers along a road near the school, asking if anyone had seen Spicher or Terri Horman, or Horman’s white truck between 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. on June 4.
