The three young adults knew they'd seen a human skull Sunday night in the Green River. After all, they'd seen plenty of skulls on television and in the movies.
King County sheriff's deputies haven't confirmed the sighting yet.
Deputies received a 911 call about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The three young adults - two men and a woman - told deputies they spotted a submerged skull in the Green River east of Ravensdale, the Sheriff's Office reported.
A deputy waded into the water to the point where the three had seen the skull. The deputy didn't find anything.
The investigation will continue today.
