Oregon man arrested in 5 sexual assault cases from 10-year span

PORTLAND, Ore. - A 66-year-old man from McMinnville has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting five young women over the past 10 years.

McMinnville police reports that Douglas Turnbow has been booked at Yamhill County Correctional Facility and a bail has been set to $600,000. He was arrested Friday and will be arraigned this week in Yamhill County Circuit Court on 10 first-degree counts of sex abuse, and two first-degree counts of unlawful sexual penetration.

Police say the five women assaulted were minors at the time of the assaults. Police say they expect more victims to come forward.

Turnbow worked as a long haul trucker, operating in western states, most commonly between Oregon and California.
