15-year-old arrested in armed robbery following football game last week in Kent

Kent police said a 15-year-old student at Kent Meridian High School was arrested Friday as a suspect in an armed robbery following a football game a week ago Saturday.

Four teenage victims were robbed of their cell phones and money at gunpoint in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant at 10125 S.E. 256th St.

Officers followed numerous leads and made contact with over a dozen people during the course of the investigation.

The 15-year-old was taken into custody and booked at the Juvenile Detention Center in Seattle on robbery charges.
