Up to $50,000 reward offered in mail truck driver robbery in Silverdale

The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects responsible for the robbery of a mail truck driver at the Silverdale facility Friday evening.

According to the release, a group of people forcibly robbed a mail transportation driver on the back dock of the Silverdale Post Office located at 10855 Silverdale Way around 6:30 p.m.

The federal agency is heading a collaborative investigation into this incident.
