Man killed during argument on South End street identified

The man killed Monday night during an argument on a South End street has been identified as Sokun Phorn, the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office reports this morning.

Phorn was 27 and lived in Tacoma. An autopsy will be performed today.

Phorn was fatally shot about 9:30 p.m. near South 57th Street and South Park Avenue. He was arguing with another man over money when the other man pulled a gun and shot Phorn, Tacoma police reported. Phorn died at the scene.

Tacoma police were searching for the gunman. No arrest has been reported.
