State Patrol seeks information on deadly hit-and-run crash near Auburn

The Washington State Patrol would like to talk with anyone who saw a deadly hit-and-run crash Saturday night on state Route 164 southeast of Auburn.

A 44-year-old Auburn man was killed about 10 p.m. Saturday as he walked along SR 164 near Southeast 380th Street. A eastbound vehicle struck the man and didn't stop, troopers reported. The man died on the way to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The State Patrol has not released a description of the vehicle or its driver.

The agency asks anyone who witnessed the crash or has information on the hit-and-run vehicle to call detective Russ Haake at 425-401-7717 or 425-401-7740.
