A man was seriously injured in what police believe to be a gang shooting early Saturday in Seattle.
According to the report:
Two officers on routine patrol heard the sound of gunfire in the area of 12th Ave. S. and Jackson St. S. just after 3 a.m.
Responding to the scene, they found a vehicle with two men inside. When they tried to make contact with the occupants, one of the man fled on foot. They were able to apprehend him. Both men were taken into custody for further questioning.
A man with a gunshot wound was discovered on the sidewalk nearby at 12th and King St. S. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life threatening injuries. No further information is available on his condition.
Detectives from Seattle Police's gang unit are currently investigating this incident.
