Seven people have been arrested and 1,700 marijuana plants, cash and vehicles seized as part of a federal drug task force investigation in Pierce and King counties.
Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration and Port of Seattle, Kent, Tukwila, Auburn, Federal Way, Renton and Seattle police departments executed search warrants Thursday on buildings, homes and vehicles, the Seattle office of the DEA reports. Eight warrants were executed in King County and two in Pierce County.
The officers, part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's HIDTA Task Force, searched 10 buildings and homes and 12 vehicles, DEA reported.
No other information was immediately released.
The investigation was ongoing.
