TACOMA, Wash. - A Tacoma woman in her 80s was held hostage for two hours during a home invasion early Wednesday, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.
Police said four people entered the townhouse on 27th Street West near 87th Avenue Court at about 2:30 a.m.
The woman was held for hours before the intruders left in the woman's Honda Accord, officers said.
Investigators said the woman's car was found nearby at an apartment complex in University Place, a few miles from where the victim lives.
Her car was parked next to a Toyota which police appeared to be looking at as well, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Michelle Millman said.
Millman said the woman's car has disabled plates.
The victim told police she was unsure how the intruders entered her home.
The woman was not hurt.
