South Puget Sound Community College Evening classes at the Olympia campus and the Hawks Prairie Center are cancelled. No classes after 5:00 p.m.
Tumwater School District and North Thurston Public Schools: Buses are operating on snow routes today.
North Thurston Public Schools: All staff and student events after 4 p.m. today have been canceled. Several after-school Community Clubhouse programs (elementary) are on schedule as normal.
Lewis and Mason County Schools:
UPDATE: Shelton schools will release one hour early today due to dropping temperatures. No afternoon preschool or kindergarten. .
UPDATE: Adna School District is closed.
Boistfort School District is two hours late, schools are on winter bus routes, there is no morning preschool. Breakfast will not be served.
Centralia School District is running two hours late, buses are operating on snow routes and there is no morning preschool.
Chehalis School District is closed.
Evaline School District is closed.
Mary M. Knight is running two hours late.
Napavine School District is closed.
UPDATE: Toledo School District is closed.
White Pass School District is closed.
Winlock School District is closed.
The Washington Coalition for Open Government forum scheduled for Wednesday evening has been cancelled.
The weather has caused the city of Olympia to cancel tonight’s Imagine Olympia meeting about neighborhoods, scheduled for The Urban Onion. A new date and time will be announced.

Due to projected poor weather and road conditions, JBLM service members and civilian employees who are not designated as mission essential (Air Force level Bravo) or critical (Air Force level Alpha) are authorized an early release today, Feb. 23, beginning at 3 p.m.
In addition, due to projected poor driving conditions on Thursday morning, JBLM military and civilian personnel who are not designated as mission essential (Level Bravo for Air Force personnel) or critical (Level Alpha for Air Force personnel) are authorized to report for work up to 2 hours later than usual, but no later than 10 a.m., on Thursday, February 24.
In snow or ice, some transit routes may operate on detour as dictated by road conditions to ensure safe travel. All standard snow detour routes are listed online at www.intercitytransit.com. For additional detour information, call 360-786-1881. For information about Dial-A-Lift, call 360-754-9393; for Intercity Transit's Community Vans, call 360-786-8800, and for Village Vans, 360-706-5840.
Dial-A-Ride service is suspended but we will do everything to get riders home. Link routes are still running.
The following Fixed Route Service routes has shifted to –
· Route 1 – No Grapeview Loop
· Route 3 – No Old Belfair Highway. Use SR3 from Belfair to Bremerton.
· Route 5 and 10 – South of Civic Center – Take 1st St./SR3 to Red Apple. NoTurner, Wyandotte, Fairmount. North of Civic Center – No 12th St. Stay on13th St. No turn into Library coming down Olympic Highway.
· Route 7 – No Northcliff Rd. Buses are returning to the Civic Centervia K St and Olympic Highway.
· Route 9 – Buses are returning back to base via Olympic Highway to B St. to13th St.

Based on information from the National Weather Service, Pierce Transit anticipates going on snow routes as early as this afternoon. However, conditions may warrant changes earlier. Pierce Transit will remain on snow routes through the Thursday morning commute.
