Tacoma police arrested a woman early Tuesday after she allegedly tried to set her home on fire after an argument with her husband.
The incident started just after midnight at the couple’s home in the 130 block of East 91st Street, police said.
The woman became enraged when her husband tried to leave the house and she reportedly used two 5-gallon gasoline cans to douse the living room furniture. She then tried to ignite a box, police said.
Her husband wrestled the gas can away from her and the woman fled before police arrived.
A K-9 unit tracked her to the backyard of a nearby home and she was arrested on suspicion of attempted arson.
