A Vancouver, Wash., couple reportedly are OK after spending several days trapped in their vehicle in snow in southwest Washington.
KGW-TV says family members of John and Patricia Norvell report the couple were able to flag down four campers Friday near the Ape Caves near Cougar, Wash. When they finally reached an area where cell phone service was available, they called Clark County dispatchers Friday night.
The Clark County sheriff's office had been investigating the case since Wednesday night when relatives filed a missing persons report. The Norvells reportedly are both 63 and diabetic. They hadn't been in touch with their family since Sunday. Family members worried when they determined the couple's cats hadn't been fed and their bank account hadn't been accessed.
