A Pullman police officer suffered several minor cuts after he was attacked by a knife-wielding suspect.

Officer Ryan McNannay got numerous superficial cuts during the incident early Monday morning. One cut to his chest area was stopped by a cell phone located in his breast pocket. It took three officers to subdue the suspect, whose identity has not been revealed.

The suspect is being treated for non-life threatening injuries in the Pullman hospital.
