Two teens who pleaded guilty in a drive-by gang shooting in Sunnyside were sentenced Monday in Yakima to lengthy prison terms.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports 17-year-old Carlos Eliseo Cardenas, who pleaded guilty to assault, was given a 15-year term. And, 17-year-old Eduardo J. Cardenas, who pleaded guilty to being an accomplice, was given 10 years. The two Cardenases are not related.
Police say Eduardo was driving when Carlos fired a handgun at a group of people in April of last year. No one was hit.
