OUTLOOK, Wash. – The Yakima County sheriff's office says a 17-year-old girl was critically wounded in a gang shooting at her home in Outlook.
Her mother told deputies that a car pulled into the driveway about 9:30 p.m. Thursday and four people got out wearing blue bandanas over their faces. The mother says she broke out a window hoping to scare them away.
They knocked on the door and when the 17-year-old opened it she was shot in the side.
She was taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital and then to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The sheriff's office says there have been other gang-related incidents at the home.
