Pasco A young man was found with a gunshot wound after a suspected gang fight early Saturday morning in Pasco.

Several residents in the area of South Sixth Avenue and B Street called police to report gunshots in the area about 4:30 a.m.

Pasco police stopped a car leaving the area and found a 22-year-old man who had been shot, said Pasco police Sgt. Mike Monroe. The wound was not life threatening, he said.

After hearing that some suspects may have gone to a nearby house on the 800 block of South Seventh Avenue, police obtained a search warrant for the house and cars parked there, Monroe said.

Because several people were in the house and potential gang involvement, a SWAT team provided support.Several children were taken out of the house Saturday morning and an unknown number of people were arrested. At least two cars were hauled away.
