It’s time to stock up on those Forever stamps.

The price of a first class stamp will climb by a nickel to 55 cents on Jan. 27.

The U.S. Postal Service announced price hikes in October. The Postal Regulatory Commission approved the change in November.

Forever stamps can be used after the hike takes effect without the need for added postage.
