Moguls and heads of state will get their new 787 Dreamliner planes and jumbo 747-8s starting in 2012, The Boeing Co. said Thursday.

Wealthy individuals and governments have ordered 40 of the new jets in total, said Stephen Taylor, Boeing Business Jets president.

Many of those orders come from the Middle East, where sheiks and government officials are living large on oil revenues. The planes are large enough to include bedroom suites, dining and conference rooms and living room-like lounges.
