Boeing has added 261 orders this year

Boeing's new airliner orderbook has increased through the first eight months of the year by 261 orders, Boeing says in its latest update.

In August, the company received orders for 10 737s. It delivered 37 737s and seven 777s. Orders for one 777 and two 737s were cancelled last month.

For the year, airlines, leasing companies and individuals ordered 328 aircraft from Boeing, but canceled 67 orders.

The workhorse 737 remains Boeing’s best seller this year with 236 net orders.
