Boeing's sixth test 787 Dreamliner left the ground for the first time Monday at 11:42 a.m. from Everett's Paine Field, but its much-delayed flight was shortened by undisclosed maintenance issues.
The flight had initially been scheduled for three hours with a brief stop at Moses Lake’s Grant County Airport before heading to Boeing Field in Seattle. Instead, the plane stayed aloft just an hour before landing at Boeing Field, where the 787 test fleet is based.
