Boeing's third quarter and year-to-date airliner production lags behind its European rival, new figures from both plane builders show.
Boeing produced and delivered 124 airliners during the third quarter from its Everett and Renton plants. Airbus during the same time period delivered 130 jetliners from its aircraft assembly facilities in Toulouse, France; Hamburg, Germany; and Tianjin, China.
For 2010, Boeing said Thursday, it has delivered 346 jetliners compared with Airbus’ 380.
