Saudi Arabian Airlines has ordered a dozen Boeing 777-300 aircraft, the aerospace company said Monday. The airline also took an option for 10 more planes.
The total value of the order was $3.3 billion at the 777’s list price.
The 777 order had previously been listed on Boeing’s order and deliveries Web site as being from an unidentified customer.
The airline also announced that it ordered eight Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The mid-size , long-range plane is now nearly three years beyond its first delivery date.
