Mason County is getting its first Goodwill store, a 10,000-square-foot location that is expected to open in March at 301 E. Kneeland Plaza Boulevard, Shelton.
The store will occupy space in Shelton that previously was home to a restaurant and video store, the nonprofit announced in a news release. About 25 people will work at the store, including donation attendants, cashiers and supervisors. Shelton resident Rod Clement will be the store manager.
The Shelton store operates under the umbrella of Tacoma Goodwill Industries, which will operate 27 locations in 15 counties once the new store opens, spokesman Matt Erlich said.
