Bank of America customers in Washington and Idaho can expect to get their access to electronic account information from mobile devices restored later this spring, the bank said Wednesday.
Those customers were cut off from the bank’s websites last week when the bank implemented technology changes, acknowledged bank spokeswoman Britney Sheehan.
Bank of America customers living in the Pacific Northwest have never had access to their banking information through the bank’s mobile application, but the bank offered them access through its regular website.
Once new software was installed, however, that access was terminated. Sheehan said mobile users can get information by text to their mobile devices. Information on how to sign up for the texting service is available on the bank’s main site, www.bofa.com .
