Seattle-Tacoma International Airport's relatively swift security lines, its courteous screeners and its variety of restaurants and concessions on each concourse have won the airport a new honor.
SmarterTravel.com has named Sea-Tac as one of the nation’s most “Stress-Free Airports.”
The travel website named 10 American airports to that list. Most were smaller to medium-sized airports with fewer departures and smaller crowds.
Among those were Tucson, which has just 20 gates, Providence with 22 gates and Branson, Mo., a new, privately owned airport with just three airline customers.
Also on the list were Minneapolis-St. Paul; Orlando; Austin, Texas; Palm Springs, Calif.; Palm Beach, Fla.; and New Bern, N.C.
