Local residents have an opportunity to watch an interview with JZ Knight during the upcoming “Who’s Who in the Nisqually Watershed: Mountain to Sea” event.
Knight is president of JZK, Inc., and Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment in Yelm. She’s best known for her claims of channeling Ramtha, a 35,000-year-old warrior spirit.
Yelm Business Association vice-president Steve Craig will host the interview at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Triad Theater, 102 E. Yelm Ave.
The event open to the public, and tickets are free. However, seating is extremely limited, Craig said.
“This is going to be virtually standing room only,” he added.
The interview, which will include time for questions from audience members, will be taped and aired at a later date on Youtube and Thurston Community Television, he said.
Craig told The Olympian that he didn’t want to give away too much about the interview, but noted he’ll probably ask Knight about her political involvement, UFOs, Ramtha and the school’s future.
“There are a lot of questions,” he said. “It’s just going to be an interesting experience.”
Community blogger and longtime Ramtha School of Enlightenment student Steve Klein described it as “an exceptionally rare” opportunity.
“She basically went into semi-retirement two years ago,” Klein told The Olympian. “She’s been channeling much less and having some opportunity for herself. ...She’s had Ramtha in her life and doing this work for 40 years now.”
