One lane of State Avenue near Adams Street will be closed for about four to five hours Tuesday so construction crews can set up for an environmental cleanup project, according to a news release. The sidewalk and parking spaces on the west side of Adams Street and parking on half the block on State Avenue will also be closed.
The city of Olympia will conduct an environmental cleanup at 318 State Ave. The site will be prepared this week, and excavation is set to begin next week. Work on the site is expected to last about six weeks.
