The public can make suggestions for climate change responses by state agencies at a public meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the state Department of Ecology headquarters, 300 Desmond Drive, Lacey.
The 2009 state Legislature directed six state agencies to draft a climate change strategy by Dec. 1, 2011.
The agencies involved include the state departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Ecology, Fish and Wildlife, Natural Resources and Transportation.
At the meetings, agency representatives and scientists will also discuss state climate trends.
