Cellec Coleman graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as Operation Warrior Forge, at Fort Lewis. He is the son of Robin Richard Coleman and Helene Coleman, both of Shelton.

Army Spec. Ryan D. Johnson has graduated from the Direct Fire Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Russell Johnson of Olympia, and Kathy Bravetti of Lacey.

Robyn E.M. Moore has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader’s Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. He is a 2009 graduate of River Ridge High School.

Shayne A. Smith graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as Operation Warrior Forge, at Fort Lewis. He is the son of Allen D. and Monica D. Smith of Lacey.

Brian M. Barbero graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as Operation Warrior Forge, at Fort Lewis. He is the son of Virgil and Evelyn Barbero of Yelm.

Air Force Airman Audrey L. Poland graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Vera Reese of Fallon, Nev., and Stacey Poland of Yelm.

Philip S. Figuerres graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as Operation Warrior Forge, at Fort Lewis. He is the son of Jeff M. Figuerres of Olympia.

Jereme D. Manning has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as Operation Warrior Forge, at Fort Lewis. He is the son of Jackie and Janis Manning of Olympia.

Navy Seaman Recruit Erik G. Yoerger, son of Mary E. and Charles A. Yoerger of Olympia, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Navy Seaman Recruit Catalin A. Dobrotka, son of Monica A. and Andrei Dobrotka of Lacey, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Coast Guard Seaman Sierra E. Gallegos, daughter of Sharon E. and Joseph C. Diaz of Shelton, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N. J.

AWARD

Olympia textile artist, Janice Arnold has received a 2009 Artist Trust Fellowship. She was honored Nov. 14 in Seattle, along with 15 other artists from around the state.

The award recognizes each artist’s creative excellence and accomplishment, professional achievement and continuing dedication to their artistic discipline.
