Woman injured in three-car crash

A Shelton woman was slightly injured in a three-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon on Agate Road six miles north of Shelton.

Lisa Christine Crateau, 48, of Shelton received scratches and bruises when her 1990 Toyota Celica was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Nikkoli L. Tully, 18, of Shelton, according to a State Patrol report.

Tully was driving south approximately 4:20 p.m. on state Route 3 and attempted a left turn onto Agate Road. Tully turned in front of Crateau’s vehicle and the cars collided. Tully’s Blazer went into a spin, striking a 1998 Ford F150 that was stopped at the stop sign on Agate Road. The driver of the Ford, Alexander Jack Morris, 18, was not injured.

The cause was failure to yield the right of way, according to a report. The crash is under investigation.
